The Life Illuminated exhibit was initiated by Julie Newdoll, Director of Exhibits for YLEM, an organization of artists using science and technology, based in San Francisco. Partner in the exhibit Art and Science Collaborators, Inc., or ASCI, based in New York, under the direction of Cynthia Pannucci. Major advisor for this version of the project is the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
