The Gallery for Oresteia Images

.

The gallery for this opening was on the second floor of a 600 year old granary. Newdoll and Van Valkenburg only had four weeks to complete their residency. In that time, they prepared the structure to serve as a studio, created paintings, photographs, sculptures and the music for the piece. The last week they set up for the performance and art show. The upstairs studio was transformed into a gallery.

These are a few of the paintings and photographs Newdoll created in Plasy, or just before she arrived, in preparation for the performance.
