The gallery for this opening was on the second floor of a 600 year old granary. Newdoll and Van Valkenburg only had four weeks to complete their residency. In that time, they prepared the structure to serve as a studio, created paintings, photographs, sculptures and the music for the piece. The last week they set up for the performance and art show. The upstairs studio was transformed into a gallery.

Greek Tragedy through Necrobiology, 4' x 5'. This painting encapsulates the theme of the production, looking at a Greek Tragedy through the perspective of Necrobiology, the study of cell death.
